My first – and so far only – attempt at setting a poem in Polish. Originally composed in 2015, I attempted several times to get the syntax of the words right, with help from various Polish speakers, abandoned the attempt at some point, and then, out of sheer stubbornness, revised it yet again in 2020. Hopefully, this time is the charm. Maybe the rock will relent at last…
