Program Notes

It is always a good thing when social media comes to the rescue when I am in between pieces. This time, it was a request from saxophonist, Hermann Rid, that arrived via LinkedIn. Apparently, he had picked up that I had just finished a project – and although he couldn’t know that I wander about the house like a restless big cat when I don’t know what to write next, his request solved that problem. Music for saxophone and harp wouldn’t have occurred to me on my own, but seemed worth a shot.

So, this music is dedicated to Hermann.
